DPWH has commenced the construction of three brand-new school buildings in Angeles City.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has initiated the construction of three new school buildings in Angeles City. These buildings are situated at the EPZA Resettlement Elementary School, Mining Elementary School, and Angeles City National High School.

Arnold Ocampo, the 3rd District Engineer for Pampanga, stated that the DPWH, in collaboration with the Department of Education, is working towards the construction of these three school buildings. The goal is to create high-quality and conducive learning environments for students, with a total project cost of P81 million. The project is scheduled to be completed by the next year, aiming to provide students with improved facilities to support their educational journey.

Ocampo emphasized the importance of the DPWH’s role in constructing school infrastructures, particularly in light of the increasing student population in these public schools. Providing the best learning environment is seen as essential for ensuring students’ success in education.

The EPZA Resettlement Elementary School and Mining Elementary School will each feature standard two-story, 4-classroom buildings, while Angeles City National High School will have a four-story, 16-classroom building. These facilities are designed to accommodate the growing student population and enhance the learning experience for future generations.
