MALOLOS CLARK RAILWAY PROJECT

Project updates as of May 2021

PNR Clark Phase 1 (Tutuban-Malolos) is now 45.82% complete. Despite the pandemic, the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) Project has no effect on expansion.

FACT: Did you know that the NSCR project was first conceived of in the 1990s? But, unfortunately, it did not progress due to a variety of disagreements and issues

Today, the Department of Transportation (DOTr), under the leadership of Sec. Arthur P. Tugade, and Philippine National Railways, under the leadership of GM Junn Magno, prioritize the project, and it is gradually being implemented.

When Clark Phase 1 is completed, travel time will be reduced to 35 minutes, as opposed to the current 1 hour and 30 minute drive.

Aside from the convenience of travel, it is also a project that can provide jobs for our citizens, assisting them with their daily needs.

In fact, it is estimated that 7,500 people will be employed during the project’s construction. 2,000 jobs are still awaiting completion, and all of them will be operational.

WATCH out for PNR CLARK PHASE 1!
